Introducing NEW IceStone

IceStone and concrete countertops in general are naturally porous. NEW IceStone however, incorporates a new permanent treatment that enhances IceStone, making it a high level performing surface. New IceStone has been tested on the toughest staining agents including mustard, coffee, vinegar, black markers, lemons and it has withstood all of them. It is now UV protected, has superior stain resistance, more heat resistant than quartz and natural stone, and can be installed outdoors.
IceStone CEO Dal LaMagna says, ”After 15 years of searching for a way to protect IceStone from staining we found the solution. IceStone has jumped to the front of the line of the most durable stain and heat resistant countertops on the market. It is not vulnerable to ultra violet light or reactive to rain and can now be used outdoors. IceStone is Cradle to Cradle certified, provides LEED credits, and is NSF certified. It is one of the most beautiful countertop surfaces you will find.” In addition, IceStone will no longer require yearly maintenance and will save fabricators time and money by not having to seal. New IceStone will also have increased recycled content, reducing its carbon footprint by 21lbs of Carbon Dioxide.
About IceStone:

Located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard in Brooklyn, NY, IceStone also practices sustainability in its factory using a recycling water system, electric/hybrid forklifts, steam powered kilns, and natural light. IceStone is a founding B Corp member, NSF and Cradle to Cradle certified. IceStone has been in business for 16 years, and to date, has saved over 16 million pounds of glass from being dumped in landfills.
