Francis Cauffman, a leading Philadelphia and New York City-based architecture firm, announced today that it has undergone a major rebranding effort to reflect the company’s evolution and growing practice. The refresh includes a rebrand, website relaunch and new logo, providing clarity in the firm’s mission, values, and work as the team continues to diversify their portfolio and expertise.
With the rebrand, Francis Cauffman aims to renew their commitment to innovative design and quality client services. Francis Cauffman has grown, expanded leadership, and deepened and diversified their expertise exponentially since its inception in 1954. The firm has rebranded as Francis Cauffman Architects (FCA).
“We are looking forward to this next chapter in the firm’s history. Our new brand furthers FCA’s mission to create exceptional architecture,” says John Campbell, President. “We believe our new look will take us into the future as we celebrate our past. Change offers incredible opportunity for growth and creative exploration, and we remain more dedicated than ever to advancing our mission, ‘Challenge the Expected, Inspire Smart Design’.”
FCA tapped Pentagram to design the collateral for the rebrand, which includes a refreshed website equipped with improved navigation aimed toward enhancing user experience, as well as a new, impactful logo. The updated aesthetics of the firm’s branding were designed to create a more contemporary visual language that re-establishes the credentials of the firm — a long history of design excellence — while signaling the changing nature of the industry. The new website and corresponding marketing materials are designed to evolve with FCA’s growing project portfolio.
Looking ahead to 2019, the firm will continue to expand its leadership in both its Philadelphia and New York City offices, and is on track to complete 80 projects within 5 industry sectors. The firm plans to grow its S&T, academic research, and civic portfolios extensively. As the firm continues to increase its reach, one thing remains clear: FCA will maintain the legacy of three generations of architects, a belief in the social mission of architecture, and a commitment to giving physical form to the culture of their clients. FCA has confidence that its work will continue to have a large and positive impact of influence across a variety of market sectors.
