How Eileen Fisher’s new format will foster experiences

Eileen Fisher has created a new retail concept in Brooklyn, N.Y., called Making Space, which combines fashion retail with space for community gatherings including gallery shows, workshops and movie screenings, according to Women’s Wear Daily. The in-store experience will also include a rotating roster of artists-in-residence starting with Cara Marie Piazza, who uses dyes to turn old pieces into one-of-a-kind fashions.
