InventHelp®, a leading inventor service company, announces that two of its clients, inventors from Ontario, Canada, have designed a tool that could assist with leveling the area before putting in interlocking bricks. This invention is patented.
“Kalverak” telescopic tool would roll along 2x4s to level the area exactly. The leveling aid could eliminate the guesswork involved when using wood or a rake to level the area. The tool would be usable with any small stone, sand or soil used for interlocking brick placement or any landscaping project. The unit would feature a one-size-fits all design, and would be simple and easy to use. Kalverak would require only one person for operation and is designed to be lightweight, durable, versatile and waterproof.
Kalverak leveling tool would be compromised of durable plastic. It would include a blade on the bottom to level the limestone, etc. there would be wheels on the sides to allow it to roll along the 2x4s. The tool would feature a telescopic design to be used in different project widths – one-size-fits-all. The level of the 2×4 guide rails could be higher or lower depending on the application. After the area has been stamped, a minimum of 2 – 2×4 (or more) and string – t level with the string from the garage-door floor to the sidewalk or street is required. A user would place the 2×4 below the string line, spread the limestone between the 2x4s, grab with two hands the center of the unit and pull towards the sidewalk. The 2x4s would keep the unit level, which, in turn, would keep the stone level. When finished, Kalverak can be rinsed with a hose to remove debris and dust.
