Tractor Supply to buy smaller rival in $320M deal

Tractor Supply has won federal regulatory approval for its planned $320 million acquisition of Orscheln Farm & Home, a smaller rural lifestyle retail chain. The Federal Trade Commission approval is contingent on Tractor Supply selling 85 of Orschelns 166 stores, 73 of which will go to Iowa-based Bomgaars, and the other 81 stores will be rebranded with the Tractor Supply banner.
