Leading project management firm MGAC has announced key leadership changes. Founder Mark Anderson will now serve as MGAC’s President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), while Steve Hay has taken on the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Managing Director, and former Senior Vice President Sandra Grande will now serve as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). The expanded roles of Anderson, Hay, and Grande come at a time of substantial growth for the company, which has seen a 50 percent expansion since March 2020.
As President and CEO, Anderson will formalize his activities in more of a strategic role, in which he will be focused on the company’s plans to continue to position itself for future growth and success.
“The character and nature of business is changing and MGAC is and will remain at the forefront of our industry, doing the best work, with the greatest clients, when results truly matter,” said Anderson.
In addition to his current role as Managing Director for which Hay is overseeing several of MGAC’s domestic offices, sectors, and services, as COO, Hay will take on the responsibility of managing the firm’s Human Resources, Information Technology, and Administration teams. Within his new role, he will ensure successful operations as MGAC continues to expand its offices and client base across the globe.
“I am honored by the opportunity to expand my role here at MGAC and I look forward to supporting and integrating our global operations teams to position MGAC for future success,” said Hay. “Having seen MGAC’s growth since I started in 2007, I am excited for the opportunities that lie ahead and look forward to truly expanding our footprint internationally and domestically.”
As MGAC’s CMO, Grande will manage and grow the firm’s global Marketing team across 10—and soon to be 11—of MGAC’s global offices. Grande played a critical role in the success of MGAC’s acquisition of UK firm RLF and will continue to work firmwide by leading the execution of internal and external marketing and communication efforts.
“When I joined MGAC, I quickly embraced the firm’s entrepreneurial spirit and have had the privilege to expand our marketing efforts at a global scale, working alongside a team of exceptionally talented professionals,” said Grande. “Today, this team spans eight time zones from the UK to the West Coast of the U.S. and I look forward to further expanding our capabilities within this new role.”
“With growth comes new opportunities, and we are exceptionally pleased to announce leadership changes to further strengthen the company and its management team,” said Anderson. “Providing the best structure, support, and professional opportunity for our colleagues as we grow the company is my top priority and I’m excited to facilitate such.”
