Harish Patel, PE, Executive Vice President of EBA Engineering, Inc., has been named a Director of the American Council of Engineering Companies/Maryland (ACEC/MD). He was inducted during the 2015 ACEC/MD Annual Conference, held June 24-26 in Williamsburg, VA.
A graduate of ACEC/MD’s Leadership Program, Patel has been active in ACEC/MD for 15 years, most recently serving as Chairman of the organization’s Department of General Services (DGS) Liaison. “We are very proud of Harish for this honor and for all that he has accomplished, both as a member of ACEC/MD and at EBA,” says EBA President Rizwan Siddiqi, PE.
Patel, who joined EBA in 1989, is Principal-in-Charge of EBA’s Civil/Site Engineering, Water Systems Engineering, and Surveying departments. He has more than 30 years of engineering experience, specializing in master planning, feasibility studies, site development, engineering design, and surveying.
In addition to Patel, EBA played a prominent role throughout the conference. Vice President Nicholas Roles was honored by ACEC/MD President Dana Knight for successfully completing the 2015 ACEC/MD Leadership Program. EBA Senior Associate Kunal Gangopadhyay presented to the 2015 Leadership Program class. As a member of a panel of Maryland engineering business leaders, Gangopadhyay covered topics on strategic thinking, maintaining marketplace awareness, and the importance of qualifications-based selection.
ACEC and its member organizations focus on improving professional management techniques and developing professional conduct standards consistent with the needs of the engineering and surveying professions. More than 80 multi-sized consulting engineering firms located throughout Maryland are members of ACEC/MD.
EBA Engineering, Inc., began in 1981 as a small civil engineering company committed to providing exceptional, client-centered services and delivering results.
In its 33 years in business, EBA has grown to more than 230 employees in five offices, providing a wide range of engineering services to public, quasi-public, and private clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic, but its focus on excellence remains unchanged.
