ICRI Elects New Officers and Board Members

The International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) announced the election by the membership of new officers and board members for the calendar year 2022 and John McDougall, with Baker Roofing Company, Inc. as its President. To support McDougall, the ICRI membership also elected the following officers:
President-Elect – Pierre Hébert, Sika Canada, Inc.
Vice President – Brian MacNeil, Mac & Mac Hydrodemolition
Treasurer – David Karins, Karins Engineering Group, Inc.
Secretary – Gerard Moulzolf, American Engineering Testing, Inc.
Elena Kessi, Aquafin Building Product Systems, served as 2021 President and will continue her service on the board as Immediate Past-President
Their terms began on January 1, 2022 for a one-year period.
Mark Nelson will continue to serve as an ex-officio member of the Executive Committee in his role as Chair of the Technical Activities Committee (TAC).
In addition to the president and officers, the membership voted in the following new members who began serving three-year terms on January 1, 2022 ending on December 31, 2024:
Rich Barrett, LymTal International, Inc. (Region 3)
Natalie Faber, MM Systems Corporation (At Large)
Brad Rogers, Buckeye Construction & Restoration (Region 6)
Kandace Thompson, Western Specialty Contractors of America (At Large)
Dan Wald, Watson Bowman Acme Corporation (Region 9)
“It is a humbling honor to serve as the 2022 President of the International Concrete Repair Institute. Our ICRI staff, board, and executive teams are focused and committed to the mission statement of ICRI, and I look forward to supporting those efforts,” said McDougall. “After two very challenging years, led by two very dedicated and successful presidents, Mark LeMay and Elena Kessi, we are poised to continue growing our organization and our focus on advancing the concrete repair industry. Together they have set out a pathway for virtual learning and networking, online training and distance learning that we will continue going forward.
I encourage all members to consider this as your institute and your advocate for this industry. I also encourage non-members in the industry to get to know someone from ICRI and explore how this great organization can help grow your network, increase your knowledge, and enhance your career. I hope to see as many of you as possible at chapter and national meetings in 2022!”
