84 Lumber Again Recognized as National Preferred Partner by David Weekley Homes

84 Lumber was recognized for the sixth consecutive year on David Weekley Homes’ prestigious 21st annual National Preferred Partner List. The company earned its place among 118 distinguished competitors, marking another milestone achievement in 2025. This thorough process, guided by the National Preferred Partner Survey, assesses companies based on their performance in quality and customer service.

“We are proud to recognize 84 Lumber as a National Preferred Partner,” says John Schiegg, VP of Purchasing and Supply Chain Supply Services at David Weekley Homes. “Their phenomenal expertise and commitment to delivering a high-quality product helps us deliver on our brand promise of the best in design, choice, and service for our customers.”

David Weekley Homes proudly honors its top-performing Preferred Partners who demonstrate exceptional performance and dedication over the past year.

“We are honored to receive this prestigious award for the sixth year in a row,” says Billy Ball, VP of National Sales at 84 Lumber. “We deeply value our partnerships and prioritize them above all else. Our collaboration with David Weekley Homes has been a truly rewarding experience, and we are excited to continue working together to achieve great things.”

The yearly award honors field and manufacturing partners for maintaining top-tier performance, as evaluated through the home builder’s supplier assessment platform. This process includes a thorough feedback and discussion system, allowing David Weekley Homes to gauge excellence across its network of trade and channel partners. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, David Weekley Homes operates in 19 cities nationwide.

“At David Weekley Homes, we’re grateful to have incredible National Preferred Partners who consistently exceed expectations,” Schiegg says. “With these valued partners providing high-quality products and services, we’re able to deliver on our brand promise to provide the best in design, choice, and service to our customers.”

Only 20 percent of partners earned the prestigious designation of National Preferred Partner. These top-performing partners consistently received the highest marks throughout the year.
