//3877 is pleased to welcome interior designer Jeffrey White to the expanding Washington D.C.-based architecture and design firm. Drawing on his background in residential design and his passion for exploring interior design’s impact on the human experience, Jeffrey will help to expand the multidisciplinary firm’s portfolio.

“We purposefully seek out individuals with a diverse range of perspectives and backgrounds to inspire new dialogue and fresh ideas around the built environment,” says David Shove-Brown, partner at //3877. “We have no doubt that Jeffrey will be a meaningful addition to our //3877 family.”

With degrees in both historic preservation and interior design, Jeffrey strongly believes in the value of adaptive reuse and incorporates a sustainable mindset into his design philosophy. Inspired from a young age by the possibilities of functional, yet personal and impactful interior environments, Jeffrey has experience working on residential projects ranging from single kitchen renovations to entire multi-story homes. Persistent in the pursuit of his goals, Jeffrey once held the Guinness World Record for “The Longest Chain of Staples Individually Connected” coming in at just under 800 feet.

“I’ve been eager to join //3877 not only for the studio’s amazing work, but for the strong culture the office fosters,” explains Jeffrey. “The team cultivates an encouraging environment that supports the skills of each and every one of its employees. This is what sets //3877 apart from the hundreds of other firms in the country. I’m looking forward to creating fun, expressive, and thought-provoking spaces alongside this inspired team of professionals.”

Jeffrey will work within the interiors department, utilizing his expertise to further establish the firm’s footprint in the residential sector, while also branching into commercial design. He will serve as a resource for the team, collaborating with other designers and specifying industry materials and finishes for various projects. A technology wizard, Jeffrey will utilize company software to produce detailed drawings and help bring the firm’s visions to life.
