Planon, the global leader in Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) software, announced that more than 100 employees have joined its global team worldwide in the last year. The software company also experienced significant growth in revenue: 20 percent global growth and 150 percent revenue growth in the United States market year-over-year.
“We grew in three key areas in 2015 – revenue, clients and headcount. Our business is expanding rapidly, and we’re excited to help our growing family of clients take their place as leaders in the workplace performance management space,” said Fred Guelen, President of Planon North America.
As part of this growth, Planon hired several key executives:
Stephan Serwe, Global Head of Marketing – Serwe’s role will be to drive sustainable demand, revenue and growth by maximizing customer engagement and integration of executional alignment. Before joining Planon, Serwe was Global, Field Marketing Director of North America at Iron Mountain and the founder of Marketing2Grow.
Richard Fisher, General Manager of Planon United Kingdom – With more than thirty years of experience in the delivery of enterprise software, and specific experience in the IWMS space, Fisher is now expanding Planon’s presence in the UK. Richard Fisher previously held senior management roles with MISYS and SAGE and latterly as Divisional Director at Qube Global Software and COO of Manhattan Software Group, a Trimble company, within the IWMS workplace, before joining Planon.
Darrell Ivers, Services Director in North America – With more than 30 years of leadership experience in technology solutions conceptualization, design and delivery for IWMS and AEC spaces, Ivers is in charge of managing and leading the Planon North America services and account management teams.
David Karpook, Strategic Business Consultant – Karpook is an OSCRE International board member and industry expert of technology solutions for facility management and real estate having worked on numerous international projects. As an active member of IFMA, he is the marketing committee chair for IFMA’s Corporate Real Estate Council, and a member of the IFMA Foundation’s Global Workforce Initiative.
Kirk Tharp, Sales Director in North America – As a multi-talented, dynamic and extremely focused senior sales leader, Tharp brings extensive experience in new business development, sales enablement and selling within SaaS technology industries. Prior to joining Planon, he served as VP of Sales at Smartling and Brainshark and created a strong record of success in challenging positions to generate growth.
