The Energy Management Association (EMA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Insulation Association (NIA) to facilitate collaboration, education, training, and information sharing. 
“I am very excited to embark on this collaboration with Energy Management Association as we both see the enormous value in working together. This is yet another tangible example of President David J. Cox’s yearlong theme, ‘Together for Tomorrow,’ which focuses on building relationships and confidence for the future,” said NIA Executive Vice President/CEO Michele M. Jones. 
As part of this agreement, NIA members receive a discount on the Energy Management Professional Seminars, which explain EMA’s commissioning-based approach to energy management that maximizes energy savings and optimizes building performance. 
In turn, the EMA membership is entitled to a free subscription to an Insulation Outlook magazine, the only international magazine devoted exclusively to industrial and commercial insulation applications, products, and materials. EMA members will also receive member pricing on NIA’s Thermal Insulation Inspector Certification course and NIA’s Insulation Energy Appraisal Program (IEAP). 
EMA also offers relationship-building opportunities with members from EMA’s sister organizations the AABC Commissioning Group (ACG) and the Associated Air Balance Council (AABC). Together, this network consists of over 600 member companies and 2,500 certified professionals in the testing, adjusting, and balancing, commissioning, and energy management industries.
