Google plans 40-acre mixed-use development
Lendlease will design and build 1 million square feet of offices and up to 1,850 new homes in the East Whisman area of Mountain View, California, near a light-rail station. Gap, Banana Republic plan mall-based store closures
Gap will shutter upwards of 225 namesake and Banana Republic stores this year, more than the 90 locations the retailer initially announced in March. Most of the stores slated for closure are mall-based, the retailer said, and it expects to announce further closures in 2021. Read the CNN story here
