Horton Pedestrian Access SolutionsHorton Pedestrian Access Solutions has announced the appointment of Joy Ribble to President of Horton Pedestrian Access Solutions, a division of Overhead Door Corporation that addresses specialty door and access applications under the brands Horton Automatics, Won-Door, Flex by Horton and Door Services Corporation. Ms. Ribble is succeeding Kirk Brunson, who is retiring at year’s end.
Mr. Brunson, who has served in the Horton leadership role since 2017, will spend the next several months helping with the leadership transition and working on key projects to ensure organizational success. Brunson joined Overhead Door Corporation in 2011 as VP of Business Development and Strategy and has played a key role in developing winning business strategies and key acquisitions during his tenure.
Ms. Ribble originally joined Overhead Door Corporation almost 25 years ago and was the “natural choice” to take on the role of President, according to company representatives. During her tenure, Ms. Ribble has held the roles of Plant and Regional Controller at Overhead Door, and VP of Operations and VP of Finance at Horton. During a six-year absence from Overhead Door and Horton, Ms. Ribble held several senior level finance and operations roles.
“Joy brings to her new role a wealth of experience and knowledge of the Pedestrian Access space, as well as a strong understanding of the Horton Distributor channel,” according to Kelly D. Terry, President & CEO of Overhead Door. “I look forward to Joy’s continued success as she focuses on further improvements to Horton’s service levels, lead times and new product development to better serve distributor partners, architects and end customers.”
