Victor O. Schinnerer & Company, a leading underwriting manager, announced today the launch of a new professional liability policy form for design professionals.The new form includes a variety of policy enhancements that benefit large, mid-size, and small architecture, engineering, surveying, and design consultant clients. Policy enhancements include expanded pollution liability coverage, rectification expense coverage, deductible incentives, supplementary payments, exclusion carvebacks, and additional extended reporting period options.

The new form is the latest example of how we are leveraging our vast experience and underwriting expertise in the construction industry to respond to the evolution of exposures design professionals face today,” said Kevin Collins, Senior Vice President, Professional Liability at Schinnerer.
The new admitted nationwide policy form will be filed in all states and is already available in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin. Schinnerer will continue to use the current professional liability policy form in all additional states until filings are approved.
